How do I create a hunt?

Open the app, tap Create Hunt, name your hunt, add items (or let AI generate them), then share the join code or QR with friends.

How do I join a friend's hunt?

Tap Join Hunt and enter the code your friend shared, or scan their QR code. You can also tap a shared link to join directly.

How does AI photo verification work?

When you snap a photo of an item, our AI checks whether the photo matches the hunt prompt. It happens in seconds — no manual judging needed.

Why does Scavvi need camera access?

The camera is used to take photos of items you find during a hunt. Without it, the core gameplay won't work.

Why does Scavvi need location access?

Location is used only during active hunts to calculate your explorer distance bonus. We never track you in the background.

What's included in the free plan?

You get up to 3 players per hunt, 5 items, AI photo verification, and leaderboards — completely free with ads.

What does Scavvi Pro include?

Unlimited players, up to 30 items, zero ads, theme packs, and custom items. You can try it free for 7 days.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Go to your device's subscription settings to cancel anytime.

How do I delete my data?

Since Scavvi uses anonymous accounts, uninstalling the app removes your local data. To request server-side deletion, email us at hello@scavvi.com.

The app isn't working — what should I do?

Try closing and reopening the app, check your internet connection, and make sure you're on the latest version. If it's still broken, email us and we'll sort it.
